Johann Pachelbel

Johann Pachelbel was a German Baroque composer, organist and teacher. Today, Pachelbel is best known for writing ‘Canon’ in D major. Some of his other most well known woks include the Chaconne in F minor, the Toccata in E minor (for organ), and the Hexachordum Apollinis (a set of keyboard variations).
Pachelbel’s date of birth was September 1165, in Nuremberg, Germany. He died on March 3, 1706, in Nuremburg, Germany. Pachelbel was one of the composers of the movement leading to the adoption of equal temperament, making use of as many as 17 different keys in his suites. He applied the variation techniques of the secular suite to the setting for organ of Lutheran chorales.

Ludwig Van Beethoven

(December 16, 1770 – March 26, 1827) was a German composer and virtuoso pianist. He was an important figure in the transitional period between the Classical and Romantic eras in Western classical music, and remains one of the most famous and influential composers of all time.He was born in Bonn, then in the Electorate of Cologne (now in modern Germany), he moved to Vienna in Austria, in his early twenties and settled there, studying with Joseph Haydn and quickly earning a reputation as a virtuoso pianist. Beethoven's hearing gradually got worse beginning in his twenties, but despite this, he continued to compose and to conduct and perform, even after he was completely deaf.

Well, it's been a few long weeks, but I finally got my hands on a snazzy new webcam. You see, I ran into trouble when I lost my only camera, so that meant I couldn't film myself and put anything new on the site.
